6 cups peeled,sliced apples (about 6)
1 T lemon juice
1 T water
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup butter, soft
1 t cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375. Place apples on bottom of 8x8 greased baker. Sprinkle with lemon juice and water. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle ontop of apples. Bake 40-45 mins.

Applesauce Brownies
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar together. Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix all together and pour into 9x13 pan. Spinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 30-35 minutes.

Knoephla Soup
This recipe is from my friend Vanessa. This is very rich and great comfort food!
2 # frozon dumplings
1 c onion, chopped
1 c carrot, diced
1 c celery, diced
1 c butter
4 qt water
4 T chicken base
2 # potatoes, cubed
1 c heavy whipping cream
1 t parsley
salt and pepper to taste

1 packet Shake -n- Bake Chicken Coating Mix
Heat oven to 400. Moisten chicken with water and shake off excess. Place chicken and coating mix in shaker bag that is provided with coating mix. Shake until evenly coated. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes. Serve with ranch or BBQ sauce.
*also may add grated parmesean cheese to coating

Pumpkin Bread Pudding
I made this for Valentine's Day because Andy's favorite is bread pudding. This now is our families favorite! This also was so easy to make!!
12 slices of cinnamon raisin bread (or Costco raisin bread and add cinnamon to taste)
4 eggs
1 C milk
1 can pumpkin (15 oz)
1 C firmly packed brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1 bottle of caramel ice cream toppong
Preheat oven to 350. Cut bread into 1" cubes and place in a greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle cinnamon ontop if not in bread. Beat eggs,milk,pumpkin,brown sugar and vanilla until well blended. Pour evenly over top of the bread. Bake 45 minutes or until knife insterted comes out clean. Serve warm topped with caramel topping.
*May assemble dessert and refrigerate overnight.

I found this receipe on the Pillsbury website. I made them last night for a class we are taking and it was my turn to bring snacks. Very easy!

1 can apple,cherry,or blueberry pie filling
1 can cool whip
Heat oven to 350. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbles. Stir in nuts. Speterate biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half to make 16 pieces. Flatten each round to form a 4" circle. Press each circle into an ungreased muffin cup. Spoon 2 T pie filling into each cup. Sprinkle each cup with 2 T of sugar mix. Cups will be full. Bake for 15-22 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan and place on wire rack to cool for 10 minutes. Top each with Cool whip. Store in fridge.

WW Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken
I found this online on a low-fat recipe website. It is actually pretty good compared to those yummy deli chickens!
1 whole chicken
nonstick cooking spray
lawrey's seasoning
aluminium foil
Spray the inside of the crockpot with the nonstick spray, Make 5 balls out of aluminuim foil and place on bottom of crockpot. Wash chicken and then spray with nonsitck cooking spray. Sprinkle generously with Lawrey's seasoning salt. Place chicken in crockpot ontop of the aluminium balls. Cook on high for 4-6 hours.

WW Bran Muffins
These make alot, so I usually freeze half of them. I like to microwave them and add a tiny little bit of butter in the middle of them. They really fill you up and my kids even like them!!

Mix together and let rise to double. Put into loaf pans and rise until over top of pan. Bake 375 for 25 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack.
Italian Braided Rolls
These are our favorite rolls and are requsted frequently from family and friends. At our house, whoever requests them has to help braid them!!
1 medium egg
3/4 c milk
1/2 c warm water
1/4 c butter flavored shortening
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 t salt
3 1/2 t yeast
4 1/2 c flour
2 t Italian seasoning
Add ingredients in order to bread machine. Turn on and select the dough setting. When done (about 1.5 hours) section into 8 equal sections. Let rest. Cut each section into 3 equal parts. Make ropes from each part. Braid the ropes together and roll up. Tuck in the end. Let rise and bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes.

Golden Pumpkin Scones
These are one of my favorites for Christmas morning.

1/2 c brown sugar, packed
2 t baking powder
3/4 t cinnamon
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/4 t nutmeg
1/4 t allspice
1/4 c butter
1/2 c golden raisins or currants
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c canned pumpkin, solid packed
2 T buttermilk
1 egg white, beaten
Preheat oven to 400. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix well. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbled. Stir in raisins and set aside. In small bowl, combine egg, pumpkin, and buttermilk; stir until well blended. Roll out onto a floured surface and pat into a circle 3/4" thick. With 2" round cutter, cut dough into 14 scones. Place scones on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops with egg white. Bake 10-12 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove to wire rack to cool.

4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c sour cream
1 T taco seasoning
1 clove garlic
1 package cheddar cheese, shredded
1 med tomato, diced
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 can black olives , sliced
tortilla chips
Heat oven to 350. Spread bean dip on bottom of baker. Combine cream cheese, seasoning, sour cream, and garlic. Spread over bean dip. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes. Top with tomato and green onion. Garnish with sour cream. Serve warm.

1 package refrigerated breadsticks
1 medium orange
1 T butter, melted
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Unroll dough; seperate at perforation to form 12 triangles. Place 3-4 apple slices on the widest end of each triangle and roll up. Arrange in a baker. Zest orange to measure 1 teaspoon; set aside. Juice orange to measure 1/3 cup of juice. Pour juice into bottom of baker, but not ontop of bundles. Brush melted butter on the tops of bundles. Mix zest, sugar, and cinnamon; sprinkle over bundles. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Magic Muck

1/3 c water
5 drops food coloring
Mix water and food coloring. Slowly add cornstarch and DO NOT STIR!! Let sit 2-3 minutes. Pick up a handful of muck and squeeze it until it forms a ball. Open your hand and it will turn back into a liquid.

Make the two different solutions. Slowly pour the two solutions together, but Do not mix!!!!!!!! Roll solution A around in solution B a couple of times. Lift solution A out of solution B and knead for 2-3 minutes. Store in airtoght container.

Funny Putty
1 T liquid starch
2 drops food coloring
2 T white glue
Mix glue and food coloring together. In small bowl pour in liquid starch and pour glue slowly into the starch. Allow to sit 5 minutes or until absorbed. Remove putty and knead (at first it won't look right, but the more you knead the better the consistency gets). Store in a plastic airtight bag.

Bathtub Fingerpaints
1/3 c dish soap
1 T cornstarch
food coloring
Mix soap and cornstarch together. Pour into ice cube tray. Add food coloring to each section of tray and mix. Paint!

Septic Treatment
1 quart hot water
1 pound brown sugar
2 t dry yeast
Dissolve sugar in water. Leave set until luke warm. Stir in yeast and immediately flush down toilet. Do this before bed when there is little flushing.

Liquid Laundry Soap
1/2 c Liquid Dr. Bronner's castille soap
1 c washing soda
1 c borax
Put all ingredients into a 5 gallon bucket. Add enough water to fill bucket 1/2 way. Stir until all is dissolved. Fill the bucket the remaining way. use about 1 cup per load

Ant Remedy
1 box instant Grits
Sprinkle grits on ground. The ants will take them back to the Queen. When she drinks water it will expand in her stomach and she will die. The rest of the colony will die in 2 days.
